Stampin Up ~ Pop Up Box Card

Hi there, well its another dark and wet day here in N.Ireland, I suppose I can't complain, we did have a couple of weeks of sun for a while which is quite rare at this time of year lol. But, when the sun was out I visited the garden centre and bought some beautiful potted flowers, I should have known it was too early to put them out as a few days later they were covered with hail stones, aww well, I made my own little display!
I've made this little pop up box card using a few Stampin Up stamp sets - Butterfly Basics, Mixed Bunch, Crazy About You and Petite Petals.
Look at these beautiful happy colours, I've taken the combo from the designer paper 'Sweet Taffy' Love it! All these little flower stamps come with coordinating punches which always makes me happy, I'm not a big fan of cutting, the punches used are 1 3/4 Scallop Circle, Blossom, Petite Petals and Itty Bitty Accents Punches. The butterflies have been die cut using Butterflies Thinlits Dies.
Before I go, I have to tell you that I had a sneaky peek at the fabulous new Stampin Up Annual Catalogue and OMG I can't wait until you see it! Unfortunately you will have to wait until 2nd June but it will be worth it. :-)  Start saving the pennies!

April Stamp Club Cards using Butterfly Basics Stamp Set

Hi there! Thought I would share 3 cards I made for my April Stamp Club which was held yesterday using the gorgeous 'Butterfly Basics' stamp set. I am so lucky to have a job I love and get to spend a few hours each month with a wonderful group of Ladies and just CRAFT! The best part for me is when the ladies complete their cards and smile with pride at what they have created. Its even more special when they send you pictures of cards they are creating at home and you know you've helped to inspire them.
The card below has been made using the beautiful 'in colors' (2014-16), the 'Butterfly Basics' stamp set and 1 of the 'Butterflies Thinlits' Dies.

The next card was made by layering 3 pieces of 'Very Vanilla' and stamping randomly.

The last card was made using reinkers - Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay. We used a baby wipe and reinkers to make a stamp pad giving us beautiful blended colours.

Can't wait for my May Stamp Club, better get working on my designs :-)

Information on my classes can be found on my facebook page

Stampin Up 'Swallowtail' Joy Fold Card

Hi Crafters, I'm back with another 'Swallowtail' card! I don't think I'll ever bore of this beautiful stamp, its definitely in my top 5 of Stampin Up stamps. I've made a Joy fold card or zig zag flip flop card as I like to call it. Bit of a mouthful though. Love this fold of card :-) I've also used the 'Gorgeous Grunge' stamp set on the background. Check out this beautiful lace! Its available from the seasonal catalogue in Sahara Sand colour, very pretty, think I will be stocking up on this in case it doesn't make it into the new catalogue. eeek not long to wait now.

I have used Baked Brown Sugar, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla and Coastal Cobana for my colour combination and these gorgeous little 'Very Vintage' buttons go perfect.

Stampin Up, Swallowtail Butterfly Stamp

Good morning Crafters, hope you all had a lovely Easter break, the weather here in N.Ireland has been gorgeous and I have made the most of every minute, you just never know when its going to change from sunny to snowy! But every day is a craft day for me, I always find time to fit a little card in :-) This is a card using my new favorite stamp, isn't it just beautiful! I love the detail on this stamp, you really don't need to add much else to your card when using it as it is so beautiful on its own. I have only partially stamped the image on my card, its a very big stamp and looks great when fully stamped or partially stamped. As you can see I've stamped the image out twice and cut the second image down to layer onto of the first. I can't wait to try it in colour! The stamp comes in both Wood (£15.95) and Clear (£12.95) This is definitely one of those stamps you will use over and over again. Love it!
To order yours just click the link to my online shop and you will get it delivered straight to your door.

Enjoy the rest of your day, I'm heading to my daughters for a yummy BBQ, catch ya later x

Stampin Up ~ Baby Bumblebee

How adorable is this cute little 'Baby Bumblebee' stamp? I Love the new 2014 ~ 15 In color Collection which have been used in the 'Sweet Dreams' designer paper, I would usually stick with pink, lemon or blue for baby projects but I went with the designer paper combo and think I've been converted. I've also used the 'Honeycomb' embossing folder with my card, a perfect combination with this little fellow.  Below you can see I made a picture box frame, wouldn't this be a fab present for someone with a new baby? Not really a good photo due to the light kept catching the glass but you can get the idea! Its colors are much brighter in real life. I have used a lovely stamp set called 'Banner Banter' on this project which also has a coordinating 'Banner' punch :-) Love it when I don't have to do the cutting free hand! I love making backgrounds for my cards with re inkers and watercolor paper and this color combination has to be one of my favorites. I've used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie then I have stamped over it using the 'Petite Petals' stamp set. such an easy card to make, especially good if you are wanting to make in bulk like I had to do. I've ordered myself some more re inkers to try out different color combinations, can't wait for them to arrive!

Remember today (31st March) is the last day to take advantage of Sale A Bration!!! Click the link below to check out the fab products you can receive for free with every £45 order of Stampin Up products.
